“Somewhere out there” and Mihaela Marinova

About ten years ago, a little girl with a big voice appeared on a TV show. Mihaela Marinova, then 15, is now an established singer. In that time, she has earned the love of audiences, won a number of awards, taken part in hundreds of concerts and has spent thousands of hours in the recording studio as singer-songwriter with three albums. “Somewhere out there” is a song from her latest album “Black Butterfly”.

A few days ago, Mihaela Marinova released a video to “Somewhere out there”, as if she wanted to draw more attention to this particular song. A small video that elicited a big reaction from the audience.

“I wrote “Somewhere out there” at a time when I really wanted to believe love does exist – the kind of love when you can hold hands and walk side by side without any fear. And it was as if I “manufactured” it out of thin air. Now I listen to it, and I believe that we have to say our deepest desires out loud if we want them to come true,” Mihaela says.

The lyrics of “Somewhere out there” are by Mihaela, for the music and the arrangement she partnered with Angel Dyulgerov who is also music director of her concert programme and has worked with her on her last two albums.
