Temperatures will go down on Sunday, snow is expected in Northeastern Bulgaria

The weather will be cloudy during the next 24 hours. Snow will fall in the northeastern part of Bulgaria, which will spread to many regions of Northern Bulgaria during the day. It will rain in the southern parts of the country. Snowfall will be intense and significant in amount in Northeastern Bulgaria, where there will be conditions for blizzards and drifting snow. There will be light to moderate northeasterly wind.

The lowest temperatures in most areas will range between minus 3°C and 2°C, for Sofia around 0°C. Maximum temperatures will range from 0°C in Northeastern Bulgaria to 9°C-11°C in Southwestern Bulgaria, for Sofia around 5°C.

In the mountains, it will be mostly cloudy with snowfall. There will be moderate westerly and southwesterly winds. Moderate to strong westerly winds will blow on higher ground. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 3°C, at 2,000 meters around minus 2°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be cloudy with rain. Snow and rain are in the forecast for the northern seacoast. There will be moderate northeasterly wind. Daytime highs will range between 3°C and 7°C. The sea water temperature is 6°C-7°C. Sea state 3-4.
