Bulgaria not invited to Paris for the European forum on Ukraine

A surprising meeting, personally I think it should take place with all leaders within the EU and the UK. This was commented to BTA by Vice President Iliana Iotova on the occasion of the meeting of European leaders on Ukraine convened by French President Emmanuel Macron. On February 17, only some of the leaders are invited to Paris - a format for which we do not yet have an explanation why and what the argument was, Yotova said.

"Europe at this moment should not give in to emotions, should not make hasty decisions after all that happened and was heard at the Munich Security Conference. It is necessary within the framework of the European institutions to discuss the future actions of the EU regarding both the war in Ukraine and the possible negotiations, and only then - after the consent of all EU member states, to make decisions. No one has won if they have made hasty decisions under the pressure of emotions," Yotova added.
