Yellow code warning for cold weather issued for 5 districts in Northeastern Bulgaria

On Monday, the lowest temperatures will range from minus 15°C to minus 10°C, higher in Western Bulgaria, for Sofia around minus 4°C. In the morning, there will be fog near the rivers. It will be mostly sunny during the day. Maximum temperatures will range from 0°C to 5°C, around 4°C in the capital city.

It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. However, significant cloud cover is expected over the massifs in Southwestern Bulgaria and the Western Balkan Mountains, with light snow showers in some areas. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be 0°C, at 2,000 meters around minus 6°C.

It will be mostly sunny along the Black Sea coast. In the morning hours, visibility may be reduced in some places. Daytime highs will range from 3°C to 5°C. The sea water temperature is 3°C -5°C.  

It will be mostly sunny on Tuesday. There will be significant increases in cloud cover over Western Bulgaria and the southern regions, with isolated light rain showers in Southwestern Bulgaria, and light snow in the mountains.
