An exhibition showcasing iconic cultural and natural tourist sites from Bulgaria has been opened in front of the Bulgarian Embassy in Stockholm.

"Bulgaria is a country with an impressive history, rich cultural and historical heritage and unique nature. This exhibition not only showcases its beauty but also promotes interest in our country as a tourist destination", said Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh.

The Ministry of Tourism participates for the first time in the Danish Travel Show (Ferie for alle) in Herring, Denmark. Bulgaria's last participation was in 2013, before the ministry was established. From January to September 2024, the number of Danish tourists visiting the country increased by 13.6% compared to the same period in 2023. A total of 27,837 Danish tourists visited Bulgaria during that period.
