Malena Zamfirova won second place in the parallel giant slalom event of the Snowboard World Cup round in Krynica, Poland.

In the semifinal she won by 0.27 seconds versus Olympic bronze medalist Ramona Hofmeister, Germany but lost the gold by 0.43 seconds versus world champion Tsubaki Miki, Japan.
