Bulgaria proposes to use unspent funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan for defense

Before the start of the extraordinary EU Summit, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov said that Bulgaria will propose that the unspent and unabsorbable funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan be used for defense instead of money from the cohesion funds.

The Prime Minister pointed out that the government has a clear national position that this should not endanger cohesion and cohesion funds, the BNR correspondent in Brussels reported.
