Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 12 March 2025

Warm and dynamic weather expected in Bulgaria on Wednesday

On Wednesday, lows in Bulgaria will be 5 to 10°C.  In Sofia, it will be around 6°C.  Rain will still fall in southeastern areas before noon.  The wind will remain from the southwest to moderate, and in the afternoon and in the evening north of the mountains it will also be strong gusty wind from the south.  

Maximum temperatures will be between 17 and 22°C, in the capital it will be around 19°C.

It will be cloudy in the mountains.  Before noon, there will be rain showers in separate places in the Eastern Rhodopes, Strandja and Sakar mountains. Strong wind will continue to blow, in the higher parts - to a stormy wind from the southwest.   The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 m.  will be 15°C, at 2000 m.  - about 9°C.

Along the Black Sea coast there will be variable, more often significant cloudiness.  There will be some showers before midday, mainly along the south coast.  A moderate wind from the south-southwest will blow. Maximum temperatures will be from 15 to 21°C.  The temperature of the sea water is 6-7°C  

On Thursday, the weather will be quite dynamic.  It will remain warm and windy, with a moderate, in the areas located near the northern mountain slopes and in Eastern Bulgaria, temporarily strong and gusty wind from the south-southwest.  Cloudiness will be more often significant.  It will rain, mainly in the mountainous regions, and in South-West Bulgaria it is also possible to thunder.
