March Music Days festival kicks off in Ruse

The 64th edition of the international music festival "March Music Days" begins today in Ruse. It will last until 31 March.


Twenty-three concerts, ranging from Renaissance and Baroque to contemporary music and jazz, will be performed by elite artists, ensembles and orchestras from 16 countries across three continents. 


The prestigious forum will open with a concert by the Ruse Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Naiden Todorovi with soloists - the excellent Romanian cellist Andrei Ionica and the wonderful British violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky.
