Weather forecast for 15 March

Cloudy and warm, with a maximum of 30°C

On Saturday, after the expected overnight rainfall, morning temperatures will range between 8°C and 13°C. In Sofia, it will be around 11°C.


During the day, clouds will be mostly significant but high. Winds will increase from the south-southwest, becoming moderate to strong, and gusty north of the mountains. A yellow code for high winds has been issued in 24 regions. It will be very warm for mid-March. Maximum temperatures will be between 25 and 30°C, around 26°C in the capital.


There will be high clouds in the mountains. A strong and stormy south-westerly wind will blow. The maximum temperature will be around 19°C at 1,200 m, and around 11°C at 2,000 m.


Along the Black Sea coast there will be patchy high clouds with moderate and strong south-southwesterly winds. Maximum temperatures will range from 17-18°C on the northern coast to 26°C on the southern coast. Sea temperatures will be 8-9°C. Sea swell will be 2-3.


On Sunday, cumulus and cumulus-rain clouds will develop with short showers. Winds will decrease. Cold air will penetrate, but temperatures will still be warmer than usual, with a minimum between 10 and 15°C and a maximum between 20 and 25°C.
