Bulgarian Ambassador to the United States Georgi Panayotov and Raycho Raychev, founder and CEO of the Bulgarian company EnduroSat, met with experts from the US House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space and Technology. This was announced by the Bulgarian diplomatic mission on its Facebook page.

Raychev's company EnduroSat specialises in scientific and technological research with a focus on aerospace, the development of aerospace technologies and the design, manufacture and operation of satellites.

It was presented to the experts as one of the fastest growing European companies in its field, with an established presence in the US, where the majority of its customers are located.

The Commission representatives showed great interest in the company's innovative technologies in satellite manufacturing. One of its satellites, Balkan-1, is already transmitting data for the European Union's Copernicus programme.
