Europe must continue to plan in a collective and coordinated manner its next steps in ensuring a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. Together with our European and transatlantic partners, Bulgaria is ready to participate in the peace and security solution. This was stated by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov during a videoconference meeting of heads of state and government and the presidents of the European Commission, the European Council and NATO, the government press service reported.

Zhelyazkov stressed in his statement that Bulgaria welcomes the results of the US-Ukraine talks held in Jeddah, including the proposed ceasefire agreement and the US's renewed sharing of intelligence and assistance for Ukraine's security.
