The Bulgarian government remains ready to provide additional assistance to its friends and neighbors if they need it in this difficult time. This was what Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev told his North Macedonian counterpart Timčo Mucunski, who was in Sofia on a short visit. Together with North Macedonian Minister of Health Dr. Arben Taravari, Mucunski personally got acquainted with the condition of the Kocani fire victims admitted for treatment in Bulgaria.

The blood donation campaign in Bulgarian hospitals will continue until the end of the week. Dr. Zhivka Dimitrova from the Bulgarian Red Cross told BNR that "whenever there is such a disaster, the need for blood is great."
