Vazrazhdane party will submit a vote of no confidence in the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov due to "systemic failure in foreign policy".

"Instead of defending the national interest, the cabinet is blindly following the confrontational line of the liberal elite in Brussels, ignoring the desire of the Bulgarian people for peace, neutrality and dialogue", Kostadin Kostadinov, leader of Vazrazhdane, stated.

"Under pressure from external forces, Bulgaria was drawn into a foreign geopolitical conflict, without public consent and without strategic benefit for the country. Sanctions against the Russian Federation continue to cause severe damage to the Bulgarian economy, and huge budget funds are being redirected to military aid instead of healthcare, education and social support", read the reasons for the motion of no confidence.

Vazrazhdane also condemns the passivity of the cabinet after the death in Gaza of the Bulgarian UN employee Marin Marinov.
