Although young, Kristian Kostov is already an established performer and songwriter. He made a strong impression during the fourth season of X Factor Bulgaria, reached the grand final, and won a large audience. He then represented Bulgaria at Eurovision, winning the second place in the song contest. The second place of Kristian Kostov is Bulgaria's biggest success at Eurovision. Later, he became the youngest participant in a popular Chinese singing competition. Over the years, he has grown as an artist and music creator.
Today, Kristian spends most of his time in Bulgaria and actively works as a songwriter on hit projects, including collaborations with DARA, Dara Ekimova, Miro and others.

His friendship with music producer Dexter and Dara Ekimova inspired him to create the song "Az Sum Ti" (I Am You). The song was released with both audio and video on March 15 – the day Kristian turned 25.
"Az Sum Ti means a lot to me because it happened very naturally – almost like a predestination. Nothing in the process was forced or overly planned. While we were writing it, I imagined we were making a soundtrack for Batman. I feel this project as a new beginning, like I’m taking an important step in music", says Kristian Kostov.
