The second edition of the festival of antiquity "Diocletianopolis - Crossroads of Time" will be held from April 4 to 6, 2025 in the city of Hisarya. The modern city of Hisarya arose on the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Diocletianopolis. The focus this year will be on ancient cuisine. Visitors will have the opportunity to try authentic dishes prepared according to original recipes from the Roman, Thracian and early Christian eras. To enrich their experience, festival guests will be able to participate in a variety of educational sessions related to the history of foods and their cultural and trade routes through the centuries.
Children's corners will offer specially created attractions and educational games. The festival will be accompanied by a rich cultural program, including musical, theatrical and dance performances inspired by ancient traditions.
