The civic association "Angels on the Road" organized a protest in front of the Sofia Court House against the road traffic accidents that have claimed hundreds of lives. The procession passed by the Ministry of Justice, where the protesters spoke with Bulgaria’s Minister of Justice Georgi Georgiev about legislative changes aimed at reducing tragic incidents with human casualties. Parents of children killed in road accidents demanded tough punishments for road traffic offenders and appropriate measures to prevent accidents. The silent march of the "Angels on the Road" association continued toward the National Assembly and will end in front of the Road Infrastructure Agency, where they will call for the resignation of the agency's leadership.

''The tragic case in Pleven district, where 12-year-old Siyana lost her life in a terrifying accident, is yet another one that shows the lack of state policy regarding road safety and infrastructure'', Petya Ivanova from "Angels on the Road" said in an interview with BNR.
