The images of Paisius of Hilendar and St. Ivan Rilski will be depicted on Bulgarian euro coins

The images of Paisius of Hilendar and St. Ivan Rilski will adorn Bulgarian euro coins

The revised graphic design of the Bulgarian national side of the euro coins has been approved by the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank. The two-euro coin, whose national side will feature the image of Paisius of Hilendar, will have the inscription "GOD PROTECT BULGARIA" on the edge. The one-euro coin will feature the heavenly patron of Bulgaria, St. Ivan of Rilski. The 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 cent coins will feature the Madara Horseman.

The euro coins have a common side and a national side.
