Stoeva sisters secure medal at European Badminton Championships

Sisters Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva have secured medals at the European Badminton Championships by qualifying for the semifinals of the women's doubles competition in Horsens (Denmark).

The Bulgarians, who are seeded No. 1 in the doubles, won against Moa and Tilda Sjoo from Sweden in the quarterfinals with 2:0 (6, 12). The next opponents will be Debora Jille (Netherlands) and Sara Thygesen (Denmark).

Stefani and Gabriela Stoeva are three-time European doubles champions and also have two silver medals in their careers.
