Thirteen people were arrested in central Sofia during a specialized police operation aimed at countering illegal migration and preventing crimes committed by or against foreign nationals. The operation took place on April 16 and 17, said the Ministry of Interior.

A total of 330 people were checked, along with 41 locations including hostels, shops, restaurants, hair salons and others establishments.

Among those detained were four individuals—three men and one woman—who were wanted nationwide, and six others for illegal residence in Bulgaria. Additionally, three men were detained for drug possession.
