Egg dyeing workshops take place hours before Easter

Various events are held across the country hours before we welcome the Resurrection of Christ.

In Sofia, the "It's Up to Us" Foundation invites children to a "Big Easter Egg Dyeing" from 11:00 to 15:00 at Canyon Park in Mladost 3 with free admission. The program includes workshops, dances, sports games and many surprises. Children and adults will dye 1500 eggs and take them home.

Burgas Air Museum is organizing a festive adventure for young and old with a thematic program of games, creative workshops and interactive experiences among unique aircraft, which will last until 16:00. Visitors will be able to walk past the planes in the exhibition, dye Easter eggs and join a special children's show program.

In Plovdiv, starting 11 a.m. today, an Easter creative workshop for children is held on Stefan Stambolov Square in front of the municipality. A concert under the title "Easter Miracles in the Land of Talents" will start at 5 p.m.

In the region of Yambol region, the tradition of dyeing Easter eggs only on Holy Saturday, and not on Maundy Thursday, is still preserved. Preparations for the the holiday day also begin, BNR correspondent Daniela Kostova reported. In the evening, blossoming pear tree branches are collected and the entrance gates of homes are decorated with them.
