The New Bulgarian University announces the start of its initiative Spring Days of the Arts, a celebration of creativity and culture. From today until 5 June, more than 30 cultural and artistic events will take place, involving students, faculty and international guests.
The festival will open with the screening of the documentary La Scuola Kabaivanska, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Raina Kabaivanska's master class at the university and the interdisciplinary project inspired by the Song of Solomon," the NBU said.
Highlights of the programme include the international festival The Shakespeare Trace - Image, Voice, Body, a photography exhibition of debut student projects, a jazz concert celebrating the university's jazz tradition, and literary readings.
Spring Days of the Arts at NBU is not just a festival, but a platform for expression, inspiration and dialogue between generations, genres and academic fields, the organisers emphasise.
