According to the organisers of the Dir.bg website, the awards for the eighth edition of the Web Report ethical journalism competition will be presented at a ceremony on 21 May. The competition aims to showcase and reward journalistic excellence, integrity, and responsible journalism.
“We’re looking for those journalists and writers who create with both skill and heart. Those who double-check their facts using reliable sources and never intentionally mislead their audience. They don’t serve private agendas — political, corporate or personal. Instead, they dig deep, chase down every angle, and strive to tell the whole story,” the organisers explain.
