Bulgaria qualifies for the Round of 16 of the Minifootball World Cup in Baku

The Bulgarian National Minifootball Team advanced to the Round of 16 at the Minifootball World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The Bulgarian team secured a 1–0 victory over Slovakia in their third Group D match. The only goal of the match was scored by Nikolay Ivanov in the 34th minute. With two wins and one loss, Bulgaria finished second in the group standings with 6 points. Portugal took the top spot with 9 points after three consecutive victories. Portugal and Bulgaria advance to the knockout stage of the tournament, while Slovakia and India are eliminated.

In the Round of 16, Bulgaria will face the winner of Group C- England.
