Bulgaria’s accession to the United States Visa Waiver Program is a strategic priority for the Bulgarian government, Tourism Minister Miroslav Borshosh announced at the opening of an information event focused on visa procedures aimed at expanding tourism exchanges between Bulgaria and the US. He emphasised that removing visa requirements would be a crucial step in facilitating people-to-people contact, strengthening business ties and promoting tourism between the two countries.

The event was jointly organised by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was attended by representatives from the Consular Section of the US Embassy in Bulgaria.
