The event will take place at the Blue Dot Refugee Support Center in Sofia. This centre is part of the "Compass" Network for Protection and Inclusion, operated by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

The donation will secure a total of 3,000 food packages and 1,000 family hygiene kits for 4,000 people.

The ceremony will be attended by Japanese Ambassador Hisashi Michigami, representatives of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Chair of the State Agency for Refugees Mariana Tosheva, and Chairman of the Bulgarian Red Cross Hristo Grigorov.
