It is time to go out to the Bulgarian people and hear what they want to say – the Bulgarian people say "yes" to the lev and "no" to the euro; they say they want to be asked, the chairman of the parliamentary group of "Vazrazhdane" Kostadin Kostadinov said in a statement from the parliamentary rostrum, BTA reports. After reading it, the MPs of the party left the plenary hall.

According to the leader of "Vazrazhdane" party, renegades in the country would boast about killing Bulgarian independence, the Bulgarian state and the Bulgarian people, as the fascists did in 1941 in the building of the National Assembly, again talking about obligations that arise from a treaty we signed.

"Does it sound familiar today - obligations arising from the signed membership treaty for Bulgaria to join the EU. After 1944, those who shouted ‘hurrah’ in the National Assembly were tried for the treason they committed. Such treason is currently happening with the imposition of a foreign currency, the destruction of Bulgarian financial independence," said Kostadin Kostadinov on the day when the convergence reports on the country's accession to the eurozone are expected.
