Stiliana Nikolova has won the all-around silver medal at the 2025 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in the Estonian capital Tallinn, BTA reported. Taisiia Onofriichuk from Ukraine became champion.
The bronze medal went to Olympic and world champion Darja Varfolomeev from Germany, while the other Bulgarian, Eva Brezalieva, finished in eleventh place.
Our ensemble made serious mistakes in both of its routines and fell to 15th position without qualifying for the finals. However, Stiliana Nikolova will compete in the hoop, ball and clubs, and Eva Brezalieva - in the hoop and ball.
In addition to Stiliana Nikolova's silver medal, the Bulgarian ensemble in the junior group won bronze medal in the final with five pairs of clubs. This brought Bulgaria fifth place in the team standings of the championships- a serious setback compared to the European title a year ago.
