A series of events that transform urban spaces into living stages for creative expression - this is the project "River of Arts", which is implemented by the "Central" district of the Municipality of Plovdiv.

Within three days - from June 13 to 15 - various visual arts, dance and music meet in one place, and the entrance for visitors is free.

‎"Our goal is to bring art closer to people, to provoke them to participate and feel its magic. One of the main highlights of the festival will be pantomime and dances for babies and children" - explained to the Bulgarian National Radio Plovdiv the secretary of the community center "Prof. Kiril Dzhenev-2018", Petya Marinova.‎

On Saturday, June 14, the events will be located opposite the Water Palace, along the Maritsa River.

On June 15, the activities will be in Dondukova Garden. In the morning hours there will be dances for children and babies, and in the afternoon - workshops and concerts.

"We want to create shared experiences that will strengthen the bond between children and parents through the power of art. We hope that "River of Arts" will become a tradition that attracts more participants and audiences every year, turning Plovdiv into an even more attractive center of culture," adds Petya Marinova.

Plovdiv residents and guests of the city will find more details on the Facebook page of the "River of Arts" festival.
