Bulgarian short animated film “The Artist’s Daughter” will be presented today in Tokyo as part of the EU Film Days, BTA reports. The animation is part of the festival program in the “Memory and History” section.
“The Artist’s Daughter”, the work of the artist animator Dimitar Dimitrov, is the first Bulgarian animated film based on images generated by artificial intelligence. The festival program also includes another Bulgarian short animated film – “Family Portrait of the Black Earth” by director Ivan Popov, based on the story of the same name by Yordanka Baleva.
In addition to Tokyo, the festival program includes screenings in Nagoya, Fukuoka and Kyoto.
