Bulgaria appreciates highly Qatar's consistent efforts to end hostilities in the Middle East and the subsequent finding of a sustainable peaceful solution through diplomacy. This was what President Rumen Radev said at a meeting with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sultan bin Saad bin Sultan Al Muraikhi, who is visiting Bulgaria. The meeting was also attended by Qatar's Ambassador to Bulgaria Fahad Ibrahim Ali Al-Mushiri. Radev also expressed gratitude for the commitment of Qatar and personally to the Emir of Qatar for the release of the crew on board the Galaxy Leader ship, which had two Bulgarians on board, as well as for the release of two Bulgarian hostages held by Hamas.
