The National Assembly rejected the no-confidence motion against the cabinet of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov. 64 MPs from GERB-SDS, 19 MPs from BSP, 15 MPs from ''There Is Such a People'' and 29 MPs from ''DPS–New Beginning'' voted against the motion of no confidence. ''MECH'', ''Velichie'', the ''Alliance for Rights and Freedoms'', ''Vazrazhdane'', as well as 17 MPs from the coalition ''We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria'' voted in favor.
