Two children, aged five and seven, ran away from their preschool in Sofia, prompting police involvement. The authorities were notified approximately one hour after the children went missing. A search was launched and the youngsters were found around five kilometres from the preschool.
According to the police, the children had been missing for over an hour and had travelled on the metro. They reportedly left after the seven-year-old girl managed to press the button that unlocked the door. The five-year-old boy later told officers that the girl had wanted to take him to her home.
