Temperatures begin to rise over the weekend

On Saturday minimum temperatures will range between 15 and 23° C., for Sofia 15° C. During the day the weather will be predominantly sunny, cumulus clouds will form around and after midday. There will be rain and thunder mostly in the mountain regions of Western and Central Bulgaria. There will be a light, in Eastern Bulgaria moderate wind from the East-Northeast. Maximum temperatures 29-34° C., for Sofia around 30° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be sun with a light, in the afternoon to moderate wind from the East-Northeast. Maximum air temperatures 28-30° C., temperature of the sea water 26-27° C., sea state 2-3.  

Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly sunny. Cumulus clouds will develop in the afternoon and there will be rain and thunder over Mount Rila, the Rhodopes and the Western portion of the Balkan Range. There will be a light to moderate wind. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 25° C., at 2,000 m. around 17° C.

On Sunday the weather will continue unchanged, with highs reaching 30-35° C.
