Big puppets from Romania’s Puppets Occupy Street to appear in Sofia

Two of the big puppets from Puppets Occupy Street from Craiova in Romania will be seen in Sofia for the first time as part of the International 6Fest Street Arts Festival.

They will appear to a Bulgarian audience from 7.30 until 8.30 PM in the area in front of the National Palace of Culture (with starting point the pillars).

The puppets are a production of the Hummingbird theatre, and are famous for their participation in the annual parade at the major international festival Puppets Occupy Streets in Craiova. Interestingly, these puppets too are operated by strings, but because they are 4.5 metres tall, this takes place using a special mobile structure.
