Teams of Levski and Arda continue in the Conference League playoffs

The football team of Levski FC has defeated the Azerbaijani team of Sabah 2:0 as a guest in Baku. After the second leg of the third qualifying round in the Conference League with an aggregate score of 3:0, the Bulgarians reached the playoff phase of the tournament. Radoslav Kirilov opened the score in the 40th minute, and Mazir Sula doubled it in the 87th minute. Sabah was logically more persistent in attack because of the lag from the first match.

The Azerbaijanis had almost twice as many shots and several very clear situations, but they never managed to score at least an honorable goal. Most likely, Levski will play in the playoffs for entry into the main phase of the Conference League versus the Dutch AZ Alkmaar.

The team of Arda based in Kardzhali also qualified for the play-offs in the Conference League after defeating Lithuanian Kauno Zalgiris 2:0 in the home second leg of the 3rd qualifying round. Polish runner-up Rakow Czestochowa will be Arda's opponent in the play-off round of the UEFA Conference League tournament.
