Bulgaria’s under-21 women’s volleyball team have booked their place in the semi-finals of the 2025 World Championship in Surabaya, Indonesia, after defeating Poland 3–1 (25–23, 22–25, 25–23, 25–18) in the quarter-finals.

Coached by Dragan Nešić, the squad will face the winner of the Turkey–Japan clash for a place in the final. The semi-final is scheduled for tomorrow (16 August) at 13:00 Bulgarian time.

This is Bulgaria's best performance at a World Championship in this age group since 2009, when the team finished fourth.
