The helipad on the premises of the Multi-Profile Hospital for Active Treatment in Gabrovo has now been licensed. It becomes the 13th hospital helipad registered with the Civil Aviation Administration and is expected to become operational soon.
The helipad is located next to the hospital’s emergency department and is intended to serve flights for the emergency medical care system for patients in life-threatening condition. The project was funded by the budget of the Ministry of Health.
