Colombia-based Bulgarian Doris Dukova presents her book “The Dark Side of Success” in the capital of Ecuador

Bulgarian Doris Dukova, who lives in Colombia, is presenting her book “The Dark Side of Success” today in the capital of Ecuador – Quito, the Bulgarian-Colombian Foundation Alianza announced to BTA.

“The presentation of my book in Quito is organized by the “Travesari” Institute and is conceived as a fulcrum of the international project “Leadership Camp for International Education”, as it presents stories with lessons aimed at teamwork, leadership skills and cultural adaptation”, says Doris Dukova. According to her, representatives of the Virtual Network for Mirror Classes (CACE – Comunidad de Apoyo para Clases Espejo) and the Network of Higher Education Institutions Ecuador – Colombia (REDEC – Red de Instituciones de Educación Superior Ecuador Colombia) have been invited to the literary event.

“The Dark Side of Success” is Doris Dukova’s debut book. It contains 14 short stories with a lesson, telling in the first person about the efforts that must be made to achieve personal and professional success in a foreign country. So far, the book has been published in Spanish, but the author plans to translate it into Bulgarian and English.

Doris Dukova was born in Bulgaria, graduated from the Technical University of Plovdiv and is an electronic engineer by profession with a specialization in "Telecommunication Systems". She also has a doctorate in pedagogy with a focus on international education. For more than 20 years she has been living in her father's homeland - Colombia, where she is the founder of the Bulgarian-Colombian Foundation Alianza set up on 24 May 2008.
