Prices along Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast plummet

All-inclusive packages at Sunny Beach have gone down by an impressive 30-50%. The seaside resort reported a 6-8% increase in the number of tourists this season.

The lower prices of tourist packages on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast come into effect on 1 September, says Elena Andonova, chair of the Tourist Business Association. The crisis with the shortage of staff has been contained this year but hotel operators expect new measures on the part of the authorities for the next tourist season. On the other hand, if payment of the funds for the sustenance of the Ukrainian refugees is delayed hotel operators will once again organize protests.
