The Kremlin on Sunday denied reports that Russia was behind GPS interference during European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s attempted landing in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Bulgarian National Radio reported.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov dismissed the claims, telling the Financial Times: “Your information is incorrect.” The British newspaper earlier said suspected Russian meddling disrupted the plane’s navigation systems during its approach to the airport.
