There is no investigation into the incident with the jamming of the signal of Ursula von der Leyen's plane. This was announced to journalists in Burgas by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov and emphasized that these interferences are neither hybrid nor cyber threats.
He specified that "part of the methods of waging modern wars include the so-called radio-electronic warfare, which is interference in the radio frequency spectrum in war zones".

The interference affects the GPS signal from satellites nearly 20 km above the ground and is not targeted in relation to one or another aviation object, Zhelyazkov pointed out and added that such things happen daily. He emphasized that there is nothing that the air traffic management in Bulgaria has not been implemented according to protocol.
