Another sunny and warm day with afternoon showers in some areas

During the night, the weather will be mostly clear and calm.

It will be sunny on Wednesday. Cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop in the afternoon and by midnight, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas. The phenomena will be more intense in the mountainous areas. The wind will briefly shift from the northwest. In the eastern half of the country, it will shift from the northeast and will temporarily strengthen to moderate. Maximum temperatures will range between 32°C and 37°C, slightly lower in some parts of Southwestern Bulgaria, around 31°C in Sofia.

It will be sunny along the Black Sea coast. There will be a light to moderate easterly wind. Daytime highs will be between 28°C and 32°C. The seawater temperature is around 25°C. Sea state 2-3 on the Beaufort scale.

It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. Cumulonimbus clouds will form over the massifs in Western Bulgaria in the afternoon hours. In the evening, some areas will see brief, temporarily intense showers accompanied by thunderstorms. There will be a moderate easterly and northeasterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 27°C, at 2,000 meters around 19°C.
