The international festival – Senza Frontiere International Music Stars has concluded in the Black Sea resort of Albena, showcasing young performers from Bulgaria and Italy.

According to organiser Veneta Nenkova, founder of the Bulgarian Sunday School "Asen and Iliya Peykov" in Rome, the level of competition was exceptionally high, challenging the jury and sparking debate. Two of the school’s pupils, Silvia and Chiara Basile, took part not only as singers but also as translators.

The international jury was chaired by the well-known singer and vocal coach Professor Etienne Levy. Alongside the competition, masterclasses in songwriting and arrangement were held by Italian musicians Tony Rizzi and Francesco Palandri.

The event was filmed and will later be broadcast on Italy’s SKY TV, giving viewers the chance to discover emerging Bulgarian talent.

Organisers expressed gratitude to partners and sponsors including Rotary Clubs in Dobrich, Balchik and Kavarna, the Association of Grain Producers of Dobrudzha, the National Grain Producers’ Association, and the Bulgarian National Radio, which served as media partner.

The festival was held under the patronage of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Health and Sport, Fenalc (the Italian Federation of Cultural and Sports Associations), Libertas (National Sports Centre, Italy), the Bulgarian Embassy in Rome, and the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Rome.
