Salon of Bulgarian Children’s and Young Adult Literature to take place in Italy

The Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad has announced that the Salon of Contemporary Bulgarian Literature for Children and Young People will bring writers and readers from the Bulgarian diaspora together in Brunate and Milan, Italy, on 25 and 26 October 2025 for the third consecutive year.


Organisers of the event include the Ministry of Education and Science, the cultural association Here Bulgaria, the Bulgarian School in Milan, the cultural association Parallel 43, and the Bulgarian School “Asen and Iliya Peykov” in Rome, Florence and Avellino.


During the event, participants will have the opportunity to explore their creative potential through literary and artistic expression. Leading the workshops and serving as guests at the gathering will be the renowned author Zdravka Evtimova and the children's literature authors Tsveta Brestnichka, Ivan Radenkov, Slavi Stoev and Milen Halov.
