Japanese manufacturer of engines, motorcycles and motor vehicles Kawasaki Motors announced a strategic partnership with Bulgarian manufacturer of civil unmanned aerial vehicles Dronamics. The companies will develop aero-piston engines of Kawasaki for various aviation applications and their integration into the leading platform of Dronamics - "Black Swan", which is a civil unmanned cargo aircraft capable of carrying up to 350 kg of cargo at a distance of 2500 km, BTA has reported.

"The Bulgarian company is strengthening its ties with Japanese industry, because the carbon fibers used in the Black Swan drone are supplied from Japan. This unlocks the possibility of an entirely Japanese version of the Black Swan serving not only civilian cargo transport, but also disaster relief, emergency supply, firefighting and other missions," Dronamics say.
