Bulgaria will join the drone wall that the European Union plans to create soon along its eastern borders. Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov confirmed the news in Veliko Tarnovo, which was announced by the European Commission Spokesperson Thomas Regnier.
More clarity will come after the videoconference of defense ministers scheduled for September 26, Minister Zapryanov told BNR, without specifying further details about the initiative, which is expected to include the EU member states closest to Russia.
''All countries will participate with the resources they have and with new ones that need to be acquired. We are talking about technical means that the EU should provide together with all member states'', Atanas Zapryanov said, BNR’s correspondent in Veliko Tarnovo Zdravka Maslyankova reported.
