Bulgarian President Rumen Radev will participate today in the official presentation of a phototype edition of the Macedonian Almanac of the Macedonian Patriotic Organization on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the original.

The presentation of the phototype edition of the valuable work, published in 1940 in Indianapolis, USA, will take place at the rectorate of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" at 6:30 p.m.

The Macedonian Almanac, also called the "patriotic Bible" of the Macedonian Bulgarians who emigrated to the USA and Canada, is an encyclopedic collection of photographs and historical, geographical and cultural information related to the Bulgarian diaspora from the end of the 19th and the first half of the 20th century.

The phototype book was published thanks to the Macedonian Patriotic Organization, the Macedonian Scientific Institute, the Institute for the History of Bulgarian Emigration in North America, Tangra Publishing House and supporters of the initiative.
