The weather over the weekend will be changeable with clouds, rain and sun

In Saturday an atmospheric disturbance will sweep across the country. Minimum temperatures will reach 8-13° C., for Sofia 10° C. After the nighttime precipitation over Northern Bulgaria, during the day the Northwesterly wind will pick up and will be moderate to strong. There will be significant clouds before midday and rain in the Eastern half of the country and the mountain regions. By noon the clouds will begin to disperse quickly from the North. By evening there will be sun nationwide. Maximum temperatures 14-19° C., for Sofia around 15° C.

Over the Black Sea coastline, the day will begin with clouds and rain, but in the afternoon the clouds will diminish quickly from the West. There will be a moderate to strong wind from the Northwest. Maximum air temperatures 16-18° C., temperature of the sea water 18-20° C., sea state 2-3.

Over the mountains the weather will be predominantly cloudy with rain, above 1,800 m. – snow. There will be intensive and more significant snowfall in the region of the Central Balkan Range. There will be a strong wind from the Northwest. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 9° C., at 2,000 m. around 2° C.

During the night on Sunday the clouds will disperse quickly and morning temperatures will drop to a minimum of 5-10° C. There will be low clouds in the lowlands until midday, in the afternoon the clouds will scatter and there will be sun. Daytime temperatures will rise.
