The center of Bulgaria's town of Asenovgrad is today turning into a colorful scene of flavors, aromas and traditions, in which the spirit of the Red Wall Biosphere Park comes to life, reports BNR's Radio Plovdiv.

At the “Festival of Crafts and Tastes: Traditions from the Heart of the Red Wall Biosphere Park”, visitors will be able to enjoy authentic local products – dairy products, honey, wine, herbs, spices, confectionery and meat delicacies, as well as exquisite artisanal creations.

“Life will be bustling under the arranged tents, the aroma of freshly baked bread will mix with the scent of herbs, and local producers will proudly share their secrets and stories,” says Miloslava Mihaylova from the Regional Inspectorate for Environment and Water-Plovdiv.

The festival is organized by the Regional Inspectorate for Environment and Water in partnership with the Municipality of Asenovgrad.
